Average Salary for a fresher?

Hey guys! I'm in my B.Tech final year from Tier-2 college. Recently I got placed in Deloitte as a Consultant Analyst with 7.6 lpa. Considering the current market scenario and average salaries just wanna know whether 7.6 lpa is decent or less for a fresher.

For a fresher, don't focus on money. Focus on skills, networking and opportunities.

It's decent and above average freshers pay given your background within this field. If you work smart, upskilled regularly and maintain a strong network with good grips on communication, then with a couple of good job switches you'll move up the ladder and can realistically reach 4-5x salary within 5-6 years (no MBA) and even 6-7x in 10 years (no MBA). The key here is to maintain all the 4 points I mentioned above consistently, and not budge in even one of the pillars.
