Average resume!!

Last week, I referred over 50 people for the SDE Internship role. But honestly, I know that barely 1% of them will make it through. The reason? Their resumes just don’t cut it.

Even candidates from Tier-1 and Tier-2 colleges are missing the basics—stuff like proper formatting, clear achievements, and relevant details. For example, someone actually listed Karate champion in their achievements. Cool, but how does that help with a software internship?

The truth is, jobs are limited, but so is the pool of strong candidates. If you’ve put in consistent effort during college—worked on projects, gained practical experience—you’ll eventually land a good opportunity. But there’s still a large number of students who need another 6 months of focused work to get their resumes and profiles in shape.

Best of luck everyone.
