Atlast final HR discussion forcing me to resign today right now

Today I am asked to resign with severance package and continuation of HIS. I said I need time, theg said jo time, first send resignation email. I said atleast give me an hour. After saying and pleading so much they allowed me. What I do? What happens if I dont send resignation email?

If you are getting a suitable severance package according to your YOE, and continuation of HIS till the end of FY, please do resign. If you are capable and immediate joiner, you'll get a job soon.

Job market is not wide open unfortunately.. They should provide severance package such that it allows them to find another job atleast 6 months to 1 years cover with health insurance... Those who are working 20+ years may get better package

I heard from someone regarding below calculation of severance pay

(((Total YOE in TCS*2)/3)+3) months salary. The salary would be last drawn full salary not only basic

For example If someone has 9 years of experience in TCS having 12LPA CTC, then the calculation would be

(((9*2)/3)+3 =9
(12/12)*9 =9 lacs

They are giving that to official layoff not bench people. I heard one person with 21 years of experience was given the severence pay with that calculation.

What happens if ai dont send resignation email? I simply ignore? Can they termite me without my resignation email and will Inlose what ever severnnce pqckage they were discussing and HIS continuation? As LWD will be next Tuesday they said, it happened like this earlier too when I put down my papers when on bench, they put LWD without informing me and lost access to TCS network

Right now they have come to terms with you. If they choose to sack it would lead to loss of something or the other.

I am unable to decide if I resign as they orally said about severance package and HIS continuation and post separation job assistance etc., but when asked if they can do that in writing, they asked, will do as soon as I send resignation email.

I am still unsure as tomorrow they asked me to meet as I didn't send resignation last Friday meeting.

1.Anyone you know got severance package information over email? 2.How soon Full and final settlement happening? 3.How the WHO index and RTO policy impacted will be considered, is it being shown in FFS? 4.Do you get a chance to continue HIS?

Once we get an offer then only we have to resign else we are in risk
Don't wait for that offer you can search for another job and follow up the existing offer

If severance package is 3+ months, best to resign... and you can get other job as immediate joiner bit easily...

How long you are on bench?If company decided to layoff no one can do anything.Unfortunaly it is true.If the severance package is more than 3 month then resign.
