At what age did you hit your 6 figure per month income and also give some great advices ?
I have been observing that many people on this platform are earning north of 1lpm. Absolutely many of them are in tech, product, consulting or some specific niche or having good work ex but still i was thinking about this question for so long. I am 24 and completed my engineering last year itself and having only almost a year of work ex.
Looking to reach 1 LPM per month too as i have some dreams and responsibilities too, planning to get into product management.

1 LPA was everyone's childhood dreem but make sure to account for inflation.

Noice

Brother i need guidance but I don’t have enough grapes to dm you

At 26

I think one should keep learning new skills and should get out of their comfort zone , switch after 2-3 years unless it is a really good company that pays well and work environment is excellent
One thing I learnt over the years is that one should not doubt themselves on their capabilities , Confidence Consistency and hard work are the key

At 21, I began my journey as an Associate Developer with a 3 LPA package.
By 23, after 2.5 years of learning and growing, I moved on to a new opportunity with an 11 LPA package.
At 26, I stepped into a product-based company with a 28 LPA offer (25 fixed), drawing around 1.7L in hand.
My advice? Always aim high — even if you fall short of the stars, you might still land on the moon.
Be ambitious during negotiations — know your worth and don’t settle for less.
But remember, it’s not just about chasing money. Your skills, consistency, and results should justify your compensation.
Money follows value. So build that value first

2017 started with startup where my salary was 15k per month 2025 - promoted to lead software engineer few days back . Still waiting for my first salary after hike . Last drawn salary was 35 lpa which around 2.1 Now my salary is 48 lpa.. This 8 year journey was roller coaster . I touched 30. Back in 2017 my dreams was to get 1 lakh per month before 30 . Life changes dream changes expectations changes

Right after btech. Advice: If you aren't dedicated to your craft, there is no use of you in today's AI world. Skill is everything. So do engineering only if you truly enjoy it, otherwise you should put your mental resources in other things you enjoy. Money eventually comes.
