It always was a trap or should I say a gamble since indians follow arranged marriage setup. I think you might be saying this solely because of divorce laws or stuff like that. But marriage has always been a disastrous event in a woman's life. No amount of laws can provide security when the society itself is regressive
As Dhoni said if you find someone you love get married else dont. There is no point in marrying someone just for the sake of getting married.

You're talking as if you are 50 yourself. You don't know it better than anyone else here. There will always be pros and cons for every decision. But we just need to choose what makes us happy. No one can tell us that
