Regarding joining, it's totally up to you actually. One suggestion would be to make sure with HR that you will land into a project directly else if its a proactive hire then you will be going to bench and waiting
Salary mostly I have seen people getting 90% hike compared to the current CTC. So negotiate and get something similar or above. All the best.
