Assignment as Interview Process

Is it ok to give assignment as a recruitment process? Sometimes I feel it as a Fraud. Mainly companies with almost no presence on Internal.

I received interview invitation from Nigeria based company. After first round they handed me an assignment of full stack project. Completing that assignment will take at-least 2 days and that company doesn’t have any presence on Internet.

Should I submit the assignment?
