Assessing GV as a social media platform

I see some people on GV being rude for no reason whatsoever, people are not afraid of showing off here, putting others down seems to give pleasure to some. I think not being anonymous gives some sense of accountability which keeps some egos in check. I doubt if the same guys would put others down the same way if their name was publicly visible. But there are some really great guys too, helping others, motivating others. Hoping good guys win and egomaniac don't pollute this space
