Asking advice for a switch

I finished my MBA from one of the new IIMs and graduated in 2025. I have an existing work experience pre MBA of 3 years as a mechanical engineer in a mining and metallurgy company. Just started my work as a Consultant 2 months back and I don’t like the travel and the role in general as it confines me to same industry as before. I liked my retail internship more which was in category management. I want to switch to strategy roles working for a product based firm. I know strategy/Gen Man type roles would suit me better. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
