There is not much moat in fantasy apps. Literally, every new startups ads come up between match overs. I guess more than 10 startups are competing in fantasy apps. Also, one customer won't be betting in multiple apps. Secondly, there is regulatory hurdle. Either, Ashneer will have to pivot or there is instant death in his startup. I hope investors don't put money in Cricpe. There is not much scope in new fantasy apps.
Amazed to see what passes of as "gaming" borders on gambling real money, with enough bots to make Elon squirm.
Enough families will end up on the streets, thanks to the hope for an El Dorado of riches being just a few clicks away.

Rushed it and probably underestimated it. Building a fantasy/rmg platform requires a very good tech setup because you will get spike traffic from day1. They don't even have live leaderboard ffs.
A junkie for attention, he's surely underestimated the space but interesting to see how to unfolds. Maybe he will open an "alt-MBA/founder school" next, since he knows everything there is to know about business.
Cricpe doesn't have any USP, giving a share to crickters won't matter to customers. Also UX of competition is ahead.

Dude has a IIT and IIM degree and started a gambling app and saying some percent will go to players as if that is some spacex level innovation. Not all iit, iim grads are gem...15000 from iit and 5000 from IIM pass out each year...lots of people.
