As a fresher which is best to join?
🤔

As a fresher, take any job you get.
I worked as a freelancer for 6 months after finishing college. My peers either joined a MNC or a product company and they used to shoot weird looks at me when I said I did freelancing work.
Then I joined a MNC and time went by. 3 years later, my freelancing experience on my resume paved way for a life-changing job in a product company. It led me on a path to where i am today 7 years later.
So, as a fresher don't be picky until you have several offers in hand.

Hey, I'm trying to get my feet wet in freelancing, do you mind dropping me a message on telegram (@methlox). I had some questions

My experience- Joined Big4 consultancy as a fresher, fell in love with Excel, had the time of my life for a year coz amazing team, great culture, meaningful work for generalists like me. Left for startups to explore faster growth, personal independence, leave comfort zone and build long term wealth via esops.
Most startups have inefficient processes, “flat” heirarchies which lead to anarchy, toxic cultures, etc etc. joining an MNC shows you what a real workplace is like. Very formal, everything documented on email, a structured predictable growth path, proper processes, etc. I lucked out tbh. I hope you do too with wherever you go :)
I would strongly advise against joining a small startup as a fresher. You could either get exploited or level up really fast and that is a gamble which isn’t worth it imo in the first year of working since it may ruin all your future experiences.

Are you sure you will have a choice?

Work on being the best. While earlier career moves seem risky they go a long way.

Startups. Always. Coming from someone at big tech

Bold to assume you will have choice in this market
