Arrange marriage (Bania)

Hi i am 30+ F working in a reputed firm in bangalore and earning 1 Cr pa. It is getting a little difficult to find the marriage partners. I have accounts on js, shaadi and iitiim sites as well. Can you suggest any other better ways to explore. I am looking to marry in delhi ncr itself. Are there any other elite matrimonial websites where i can lookout for.

I am looking in same community. Any suggestion or advice are wholeheartedly welcomed.

Don't expect that M's salary will be the same or more as yours. It's very hard to get a CTC like yours. Check if values and interests match, family standards match. Rest will be good.

Only reason she hasn't found anyone. I have seen girl asking 50+ when 5-10L themselves so wonder what she is expecting 😅😅

Attend family functions, relatives shaddi and be well dressed. Best way to get shaddi proposals.

Why are you looking in the community? I m from a tier 1 MBA college and a woman, very happy that I found someone in my b school dated for few years and got married. But I have lots of female friends earning 50 lpa+ who went through arranged marriage process and let me tell you the pool is really narrow at this salaries. Even if you are ready for the guy to be earning less, he or his family won’t be. My friends who have found someone all had to relax their criteria of community/caste etc. because at the end that is what matters the least vs good values, support to your career, matching interests.philosophy etc.

Also one more tip…try not telling your ctc or just telling your base when mentioning the salary to the M. It might help

Massive generalisation: bania people do look down upon corporate job folks add to that you're paid more than quite a few "business" men == recepie for disaster imo.

Side note: have you considered using services of sima taparia/ priya shah type of matchmakers?

Thanks a lot @tbk for the matchmakers name. Just checked Priya Shah fees though. It is starting from 5.5 lakh and going till 1 Cr 🥲.

That was just an example, bania (or marwadi etc business communities) also have their own targeted matchmakers serving for various income brackets.

Without external help, another advice would be get involved in events where frivolous spending is common, you're likely find open minded people.

Examples again, Track days at BIC, Indian Art Fair, Samay Bharati Watch Fair, etc.

Just my personal advice, try to find a person with whom you can be happy, irrespective of ur or his salary, same or different community because atlast not ur family neither money neither same community will come to ask u that how r u or to take care of urself because at last everyone got busy in their life. So prioritize ur emotional understanding with the person rather than any other things. Hope u get the one made for u or u become the one for someone.

You are an overachiever in career. Even if u look for a low paying husband he is likely to feel insecure

Being single is not THAT bad however

Especially if you see the Indian laws from male POV. I think it takes a real shallow passion to have mind-space for a relationship after 30 IF you've stayed single until then. I mean wtF are you doing with your life if having an ideal li...
