Trending @Accenture; Aren’t by going to office we are missing something very important.

Not going to office, doesn’t it makes us feel alone sometimes, even after working for hours i feel like i have done nothing even if o go to office there are no one to communicate. 5 days a week is little too much but if we are forced to come to office one day a week then what could be the reason of it it doesn’t makes sense at all. If you want people to visit office and know the working culture or communication among employees then it should be 3 days a week? I live 600kms away from my home just to go to office for one day and feel like it’s not worth it at all even sometimes I go to office for three days a week and literally there’s no one to have conversations. People just come punch in and do there work for couple of hours and vanish away. Instead of office aren’t we are the ones becoming toxic unknowingly!

I totally resonate with your thoughts and it's more related to singles whose routine involves working on systems in odd shift timings. People have become less human now dead from inside having developed peak level ignorance of the surrounding rolling into the office minding their own business with least possible interactions just being a part of bigger machinery.

The most affected people are those who do not have even one team member working from same location for whom this policy doesn't serve the pupose at all.

Most of us are ignoring these points just not to spend some hours in commute time in order to be efficient at work with added benefit of flexibility. Married people are getting to enjoy more time with family.

There should be some changes to policy like visiting office for fix number of days per month instead of one day per week from any location. Booking should be done by employees in advance for the days and location they want to attend from.

It's always the case, talking inside the bay is considered unprofessional. Many projects run productive hours check from Teams online status/VDI Login Hours etc.

That's why people don't prefer small talk inside the office.
