Are you the average of five people you hang out with

No I disagree! While you can do nothing being surrounded by wise and successful people on the other hand, you can hangout with people who are doing literally nothing and still be the change. It’s all about self control & discipline. People influence but they can’t magically make you do things. I don’t drink and smoke but my friends do, that doesn’t influence me bcz it’s all about how you look at yourself & what decisions you take for your well being.

This is a self fulfilling prophecy. Unless you are successful, the successful will not let yo close. So, you cannot hangout with startup founders/ceo/ Investors unless you are one. Same goes with every strata in the society.

A software engineer cannot hangout with an auto driver. A ground crew will not hang out with the airline pilot.

So this logic is flawed.
