Are you content with your work and pay?

Basically, are you happy/satisfied with your current domain of work, manager/employer, comp, benefits/perks etc. ?

Everything is great except pay. Can be 20% higher imo.

Ah same situation. I have been contemplating if I should trade a little peace of mind for a higher pay...

My pay is decent
I used to work on projects and work was < 3-4hrs Now they cut off the development and I'm mostly doing L2 support and little development

Should I switch where I can find more dev work or should I stay for the work life balance?

Not a developer, not sure tbh. Depends on what you're optimising for and prioritising. Better ask someone senior in software.

I would suggest starting a side hustle if you have extra time and stable income. If it grows well enough, you can quit job.

I work 10-11 hours in a day in academia and my salary is 37k per month. Is it decent?

Work is great, I get to use my skills in best way possible in my current job (as a Python Developer). Pay could be 100% higher. But I'll admit I'm put of touch with DSA and have surface level knowledge of most of the stuff outside my skillset (enough that helps me solve problems),
