No I'm aware that they have fired 89999 ppl so far and there goal is 90k so that one person will be from grapevine with name as "AaSs" and having a tilted profile pic 😱

Not possible, firing 2 lakh people will cause chrous.

By next yr mid mostly skilled people will be fired from TCS and all delivery related stuff will be carried out by C5 and above resources. This is what I heard from leadership.

Stop spreading unverified and fake news. 2 lacs out 6 lacs is over 30%. TCS has to survive not to shut down. They are proposing new projects in different countries. Assume they remove 30% to save cost and then again hire new people at higher salary for new projects in the coming future. Do you think this is a sensible way ? I feel 60 to 70k number might be correct.

There is no campus hiring going on now.Lateral hiring also freezed.I do not think 2 lac is authentic news but not sure.As how they will increase count if everything is freezed.I think 40-50k they can fire and 10-20k will leave automatically .So I think 70k reduced headcount may be the target but not sure.

Yup, heard it yesterday. Though, it's backed up by trainees. So, the attrition rate is balanced
