Why don't they provide dress at the joining day??? If it's so important then we should get the same at day 1 and will have the responsibility to wear on Daily basis. This will add the uniformity also...
Dont give them more ideas. They already have done a lot worse. Now with that dress code public will know that you are working for TCS. Which means that you are poor. You have no aspirations and no skills to change the company

I have noticed the security guy questioning employees about dress code .apparently they have asked security guys to not allow ppl wearing jeans and probably no shoes also . But they were liberal they have asked a few and sent in saying next time pls don’t come in jeans bla bla
My client is in a telecom company goes to office in jeans t shirt shirt sports shoes when i told him here its different we have to go office in formals sports shoes are not allowed he laughed and said in our country people do not like things to be enforced on them only rule is modest clothing is allowed of-course people cannot come in inner wear, basic clothing smart casuals should be allowed on all days

Same bhai, infact, there is a guy who manages the admin work our project, from the management, not even manager, he behaves like the HR, and always stare at the dress and shoes of the juniors. Infact told me many times to wear proper 90s wala formal, , even I have to tuck in the shirt also. 😂
Dress code can't be a point of discussion. Infact 40-50% people in tcs don't wear formal on daily basis.

Many a days when I enter office itself I will ask them ok give me the register, I ll enter details for not wearing formals. Almost every company have adjusted their dress code long back and here its still like school or even nursery wrt many unwanted rules.
