Need a reality check from the folks here. I’m currently deployed at a client site from 9 AM to 6 PM. That’s a standard day, right? Wrong.
Management just dropped a 'requirement' for mandatory internal courses. Each one is 5–6 hours long. Since I’m at the client site all day, when exactly am I supposed to do these?
Apparently, the expectation is that I sacrifice my sleep, my health, and my sanity to finish them after 6 PM. By the time I wrap up, it’s basically time to start the next shift.
Since when did 'up-skilling' become a polite term for 'unpaid overtime'?
Is anyone else being treated like a 24/7 processing unit, or is my RM just aiming for a 'Best Manager' trophy at the cost of my life? How are you guys 'completing' these without losing your minds?

They are caught in a cycle of receiving a salary and performing work. If this cycle is disrupted, it could lead to the disintegration of society or, at the very least, their family structure. Consequently, they comply with any requests made of them.
