Are there disadvantages working in Service based company

Oh yes, i worked in wipro for 1.5 years and i have mixed experience. Good thing i experienced is goof client. I worked in a banking domain based client and experience was very good, lot to learn, supportive people and very challenging task.

But about the people from wipro itself, the managers were big pricks. One of my colleague had very good skill and got continuous appreciation from client. Despite that he got average rating and hike. When he questioned about this to his manager , manager replied "if you dont like hike, you are free to resign".

Trust me there is almost 0% hike every year for some employees.
My suggestion is never work in indian based Service based company like wipro, infosys , tcs etc., bcoz recognition and facilities are very good in non indian based mncs. (Like health insurance , recognition rewards, bonuses etc)

Will it be the same for a person experienced?
