Are there any ethics or values left in TCS!!??
I have been asking for release from my project for more then one year now and after endless struggle feb end was highlighted as my release date which was extended to 15 days without any reason .Now i am reporting to RMG but my old project has again extended my allocation without providing final release date saying they still need some more time moreover i ahve been awarded with 3.5 IPF whereas i am the only resource availabe managing the tower from past 2.5 years. I have been working in IT from past 12 years but have not seen this kind of unprofessional,unethical behaviour from leadership . I regret my decision of joining TCS and want to intiate my exit ASAP.
The problem is you are not being smart. The easiest way of getting a release is by deliberately underperforming. Regularly miss your deliverables, fuck up something in production etc. They will only release you asap without any natak
Agree I would have done this before ..but was not familiar with the “TCS WAY”
I think you should try to work less and take sick leaves and do what you have been asked to do and don't do anything extra.. there is no other way.. Or you can say to them that you are not well and need to take break
Yes,I am thinking of the same .During my tenure (not more but 3 years ) in TCS i have observed favourism and unfairness is widely spread which is bothering me a lot as i have not seen such kind of culture in my previous organisations. BTW thanks a lot for your suggestions and guidance.

Speak to your project and give KT to others, you should have reduced dependency
I have been talking to my project leaders for more then 1 year with no relaxation provided there has been endless silence. I have been running the service all alone as i am the only resource available they onbaorded an resource in first week of last month to whom i have given KT as well as hands-on for almost 4 weeks but not sure why them want me to hold again
Waste of time, @LumpyPlane36 Be smart and work less, focus on upskilling, if possible take release or try to get other opportunity
TCS is the last place one should look for ethics in 2025.
Why didn't you pressurise your manager for a good rating if you are the only resource in the tower?
I was forced to move to offshore when the position was closed. Eventhough I had valid visa. Now it's been more than a year and still not released ..
It's fucking hell
