Trending @Infosys; Are the posts really anonymous?

Has anyone noticed, when you create a new post, Grapevine says: "You are posting anonymously"

But when I check the posts posted by others and myself, I am not seeing any "anonymous" posts like the terminology is promising. Any clue where the gap is?

Gap is there in your understanding. Whenever we are posting anything our original name is not revealed nor our mail id. This is what anonymous posting means.

Indeed, this is something we are all well aware of, which is precisely why we were drawn to this platform from the outset. The promise of anonymity is its most compelling allure, a feature that beckoned us to embrace it. Yet, I find myself perplexed by the need to reiterate this protection, as if there exists another layer of safeguarding beyond the anonymity already promised. It leaves me wondering. Why state the obvious, when one could instead offer a more delicate reassurance, perhaps something akin to, ‘Grapevine treasures your privacy, and under no circumstances will your identity, as registered with us, ever be revealed in any of your interactions or posts’? Such a statement, clear and direct, would better align with the message they wish to convey—an assurance that should be woven naturally into the very fabric of an already anonymous platform. The current phrasing, I fear, only stirs unnecessary confusion in its redundancy.
