Are people with One year of experience from Digital role able to switch at a good package from TCS?

I joined TCS a few months back as a digital cadre employee and wonder about career progression. I want to relocate to North but Tcs denied it. So basically want to do so with a switch ( it's a better idea. Ain't it? ). So I wanted to hear from the community. My current role is java backend
