Are online master's degrees worth it?

Seen to be getting mixed feedback from people. I need a master's degree. My bachelor's was B.Sc. in multimedia and animation. Looking to get into human computer interaction or MBA (already know the basics of business, need masters for better jobs as a backup plan).
