Are layoffs dying down?
Seeing less news of it now so just wondering if we’re out of the woods.

Google, Meta and Amazon all recently fired. Another MS round is rumoured to be on the way. Apple also made some minor cuts.
Deloitte, EY, Accenture and you can bet money McKinsey and KPMG are next.
Then the US startups like Lyft are still firing.

It seems many indian startups are firing in smaller batches to avoid bad press. Also many companies have stopped replacement hiring completely so that is another good way to reduce head count substantially without too much noise.

Silent layoffs are still happening just not being covered by news
As long as founders who don't know the b of business continue to be at the helm, the chances are this will continue even when the times are less grim.
