
Are Health issues very common among IT professionals? Do you have health issues, what are they and how are you taking care of it ?
I observed I get angry and tired very often. As the corporate culture will make people tired of dealing with everything. I got my health checkup done. The doc looked at my reports and said the majority of "IT Professionals" have 3 issues 1) vitamin D deficiency, as we don't get enough sunlight and Vitamin d plays a major role in overall health and happiness. 2)heart health decline because of high blood pressure, deadlines cause this High blood pressure. 3) backpain issue, dehydration, vitamin B deficiency.. these are major and the list may go on based on food habits . If it's a woman's bonus health issues like thyroid issues , hormone imbalance, pcod ...so on.

To be healthier and happier I started taking my health seriously after the reports and conversation with the doc. So I decided it's not gonna be a one night stand. It's gonna be a life long commitment towards myself. I love myself so this is what I will do .

Sleep early, wake up early, 1 hour workout and reduced carb balanced diet. For deficiencies, start taking supplements and maintain them via diet. Stop chugging those coffee mugs, and excessive drinking and eating out in client/team dinners. Instead of watching shit shows on tv, read some self help books or develop hobbies. Its a 360 degree lifestyle change. Just managing physical and ignoring mental health won't help you.
