Are Generalists here to stay?

I often wonder can generalists in startups get packages that software folks get?

Please share your views on what will be possible career options for them

Generalists usually thrive with a T shaped career

Operator expertise is one area with knowldege of other area

Ex - expertise in growth and marketing along with other areas

or expertise in ops along with other areas

or expertise in tech management along with other areas

in early years, aim to develop this expertise in one particular area, and then move to soft skills enhancement
