Are backend/fullstack devs valued more compared to frontend devs in the industry?

I'm a senior software engineer with experience working on React, NextJS. I know basic backend like building Apis. I have very good knowledge about frontend. I doubt what should I do in future, deep dive more in frontend or do backend/infra

Backend & devops is more complex to do. In my team only 2 handle the majority of frontend work and the rest are fullstack devs.

Depends on company but general consensus is that FE is still viewed from HTML CSS lens and JS being immature… Well, even full stack dev is naturally expected as backend expert first. Basically most do not care about UX as long as it works
