Are architects roles are so cheap now?

I have applied through many companies and got some calls for architectural roles through recruiters. I am working as SDET from last 12 years and i think architect is last and highest technical role that i can get. My impression was to have atleast 50 LPA budget for architect.

But I got budget for 30 to 35 LPA and that is for work from office.

Are IT companies running after cheap labour or trying to hire experts with peanuts in India? Is there no company who believes in high quality candidates now?

These are not even closes to MAANG companies.

Nowadays many companies don't have special positions for architects. They mostly hire experienced engineers to perform dual role of an architect and a technical lead or a technical manager. Lead Engineers, Principal engineers, Staff engineers, Engineering manager, Product manager, etc. are some of the designations which get this dual role. So, the salaries go along with the designation in that particular company.
