Tbh Paytm calls calamities like this upon itself. I'm in Paytm and the way they handle sensitive user information, KYC related information, etc. is just absurd. I'm still amazed that this way of working is acceptable/not disclosed yet in public

Do you think the compliance rules in India are way to complex and that's why Paytm can deliver an excellent product which banks fail to do? Or it's just Paytm being lazy/careless to not do the obvious easy thing?

I don't have enough domain knowledge to compare India's compliance rules with other countries. What I know internally is that Paytm is too lazy to follow compliance rules. Skipping compliances obv reduces some extra efforts from the user and hence improves the business metrics but once RBI gets to know about it this is what happens

Is system really fair? Thoughts on JioFin acquiring Paytm Wallets biz.

Was reading a thread where people were saying don't be in shock if Ambani/Reliance starts making move after RBI's action on Paytm. I initially thought it to be a meme. Now I am just curious.

Is the system really fair to allow such move...
