Appraisal related query

I got my TCS Digital Joining in November, 2024 as a fresher. After one week of joining, due to medical issues, the HR asked me to rejoin on 30 January, 2025. My training was completed by March, 2025. I got allocated to a BFSI account in May. I haven't been assigned a role in the project. The Manager has been saying that we will take a client interview of me but the interview hasn't been done till now. If somehow there isn't any requirement from the client, then can the manager still assign me a role in that project up to 10 October (it is the last date for initiating my appraisal) ? Will I can get my redemption bonus without initiating appraisal from Manager or is it necessary to be done? What will be the repercussions if appraisal isn't initiating by that date or is the date flexible?
