I’ve been in CG for 1 year 2 months now, when is the appraisal mail expected to come and what is an approximate appraisal for a B2
HR has a policy for the 1st appraisal. "An employee undergoing first appraisal in CG cannot have a non-standard rating".
Meaning, don't expect a substantial hike or a great rating. Usually 5-7% but changes according to business lines.
Appraisal letters are usually rolled out starting 28th March. Can take upto 2 weeks for the entire process to finish.
According to the new ratings I have received a rating ‘succeeding’ which I think is a normal one , is there any specific set hike %?
Yes, succeeding is the equivalent of the old 3 rating. Standard stuff. Not a set %. HR takes into account median salary for your grade and BU.
For my BU, range for B2 has been 4-8% for the last 3 annual appraisals.
