Appraisal Elibility
Hi Guys, I joined tcs on 25, jan 2023, So I obviously thought 25 Jan ,2024 will be my One year anniversary.
So for new joiners to be eligible for the March appraisal, post one year completion 60 days is required to be eligible. (This is what I was communicated ) But in the portal it’s updated as Feb 1, 2024 as one year anniversary and due to which I am not eligible for the march appraisal. When checked with hr, they mentioned Jan 25th to jan 31st cannot be considered as those days were for onboarding process
Is this true or they just were not in mood for giving the hike ?
I joined also on the same date (25th jan 2023) and for 60 days I have filled my project end appraisal
I was hired in July 2021 and waiting for my anniversary hike… but it got cancelled stating its cancelled for all EP hiring … is it true?
What is EP hiring ? I am not aware

As far as I know, the only criteria is 1 year in TCS. The appraisal process usually starts in Jan so at that time you're still completing 1 year. And they might not be able to initial at a later point. This might be one of the reasons. And if not, HR always tries to exploit every single chance, so not surprised.

I joined Jan 30th 2023, I have completed my anniversary and also closed the appraisal process. I am now waiting for the bands
Seems like I was eligible. Anyone please let me know if there is any way I can raise this now ? Like should I raise a Grievance?
