Appraisal defaulter

I have an allocation, but there has been no communication with my manager. My project is overwhelming, yet I still have this allocation. However, I haven't received any updates from my superiors. What steps should I take? Can anyone provide guidance? Additionally, if I do not complete and submit the reviewer and manager forms, what consequences might I face? Can anyone clarify this for me?
