I am a fresher, joined on Aug'23, I've been put into an SAP project but my aspirations are in the AI/ML field. Or atleast a minimum python dev project.
Is there anyway I can apply to a different project? Does anyone have a link? The current one doesn't have growth in it. Even my seniors are advising me to escape this project as soon as possible.
I would suggest asking for roll-off and start applying on the internal job portal. If your leads are too rigid, then start doing side projects and moving outside once you are confident.
Side projects? Can we work on others while being hard locked into the current one?
Talk to your manager and HR. Use the internal job portal. Push hard; don't wait for things to change.
I also heard that u can only get into project under the same DU. Does this mean I can only get SAP projects?
Same problem with me i also in sap project but want to work in data analyst or data science project. I don’t know how to switch. Anyone please advise?
Same bro. I joined last year in Sept. Got SAP stream training but was interested in development, started rejecting sap projects but after 5 calls they hard locked me in sap projects. But I am constantly trying to change my project. But nothing happened. If you got something then please help me too.
