Applied to 2000 jobs with only 10 interviews

Hey guys, I wanted to reach out looking for tips from experienced engineers who managed to switch and secure jobs in the current job market and had a few questions.

  1. Do you guys tailor your resumes to the dot spending at least 30 mins per application?

  2. How much do you think referrals helped you during your job search?

  3. I've heard that pinging recruiters after you submit an application could help you stand out, what is your experience with this?

Please share any strategies that you used to be able to switch jobs in this current market. Thanks!

What are the platforms you are using to apply? Try pinging recruiters in LinkedIn and try to find suitable opportunities from your friends and network.

I try to constantly use linkedin and instahyre, naukri isn't working for me and career websites
Yes I'm having my friends help me and I'm on a lot of job notification groups like Kushal vijay and more

Did you convert those 10 interviews to offer?

Still interviewing with them and yes one of them is an offer which I might consider they're a early stage startup so worried about their stability
