I am about to receive an offer from Apple Wallets and Payments team in India. Currently I work as a a data engineer in Microsoft (L62) . YOE ~ 7.
Is the Apple wallets and payments team part of IS&T? How is the overall culture and pay?
Is it worth to jump ship?
How much should I expect. Current base is 34LPA

apple as a brand > microsoft as a brand, so if pay is better, you should prolly do it
Yeah they are AI averse, but at the same time they don’t layoff, so that is a huge plus
Congratulations!! I had read they take 6-7 tech rounds, is it? Also, do you know if they give stocks too as part of comp?
P.S.- Unlike Microsoft, they never layoff, so it would be a great move irrespective of comp offered.
How many rounds of interview you gave?
Guys thanks for the comments. I just wanted to understand if apple pay is a good product group. According to levels.fyi i should be getting 40 lpa fixed and approx 80lpa stocks for 4 years.
