Trending @Accenture; Appeared for 6 interviews with big 4 but still not selected

Hi everyone,

I’m an SAP Security & GRC consultant with 4 years of experience. I’ve appeared for around 6 interviews with Big 4 firms. I did reach the second round in a couple of them, but unfortunately wasn’t selected.

I’d really appreciate guidance from experienced professionals on where I might be going wrong and how I can improve. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks!

The thing is the way that might have worked for one person wont work for you, and vice versa. Advise wise, the real questions are why you are leaving? Is it for domain change? Is it for money? Is it for higher roles in the same domain?. The advise would be respect to what is your end goal. So for example, if your goal is to change domain then the reason you are failing is that you are not prepared well enough to answer the technical questions or not able to understand the interviewer requirement to a particular problem stated. It is very important to be precise and measured, more in the lines of round 1- 4, casual to measured. Secondly if its money then, you will have to get yourself exposure to project and describe everything in examples and amazing experiences that you had with a tool ( that is a requirement in the JD ) . Lastly, higher roles, higher roles need you to show what you have done in your current role to propel that, have you been taking initiatives, certifications are a must no matter what people say. Without certifications backing your gaps you would get through ATS let alone interviews. Hope this helps
