app vs web: how did you decide?

Deciding between a mobile app and a web platform can be tricky, yaar. Mobile apps boost engagement, but web platforms are easier to access. I’m building a productivity tool and can't decide. Fellow techies, how did you choose? What made you pick one over the other?
