Unpopular opinion but, We need equality of promotions across both genders

Is it factually skewed currently?

let’s talk about the recent hikes and promotions, in my project only the female population got promotions. For instance my analyst co worker became sr analyst, a TL got promoted to AM, an AM got promoted to Manager(she was on project for only 1 year) and manager became Sr Manager.
My AM was more capable to became a manager, i’m saying this bcs he was more knowledgeable compared to the AM that got Manager.
And so called ‘No Promotions this cycle’ was a sham for female population.

To start with, I'd say we definitely need more consistency in management/leadership/culture across one case to another case. It's too much a difference from one project to the other!
