Trending @Accenture; Anyone Still Avoiding Office Despite Warnings?

Hey everyone, I wanted to ask if there's anyone here who is still not going to the office even after receiving warning emails?

My HR has rejected my exception request, and my manager—who knows I am far from my base location—is pushing me to come in. The irony? There aren’t even enough seats available in the office! Despite this, he’s still insisting and has even hinted that I could be laid off if I don’t comply.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? How are you handling it?

Traveling 1000kms (round trip) just for one day of office. Book a seat —> waiting list—> go and sit on a free seating space —> go home at end of day. Soon this will be more stringent.

Yes, I’m still not going to the office after receiving a warning email, but I plan to go to my base location next week. After that, I’m planning to go to a nearby office, as some of my friends are going to a different one.

Adding to this. I also heard that if we don’t show up for any week, it could lead to compliance issues and even termination. To be on the safe side, it's better to go to the nearest Accenture office since they are not tracking location-wise now

Not adhering to RTO and Return to Base location will be treated as violation of misconduct policy. So please read the policy and action can be taken according to the policy.

Forcing employees to come to the office who are far away from the base location due to financial or family reasons, is a kind of misconduct to the employees.

Seats is not an issue. Seats r plenty available even though it does not allow to book because people dont come in for auto booked seats and it gets released and available to boom after 9am. And abt RTO, it already communicated to switch to base location long back and now when its been asked to come to office. People still take advantage of this and sit in home.
Company gave enough time for employees to adjust and come to office.
Anyway its time for june apprisal cycyle and it give them a good opportunity to point fingers at you and give bad output for your apprisal and as rumor is spreading of lay off. It can happen as this can be one of the reasons for leadership to take action.
