Anyone got severance package?
Today, I resigned with oral promise of some severance amount. I asked if they can give in writing about the severance amount, though they said they will give but after resignation they simply neither given the number, nor mentioned mentioned about severance package.
I tried conditional resignation email with severance package and HIS continuation benefits. They said we will not accept.
Then, at last I resigned removing severance package and HIS continuation.
They simply are saying trust us, you will get it.
Am I scammed?
You should habe gotten the written letter in which everything is mentioned. For me I got the hardcopy then and there. Not sure why they didn't give you. Seems tricky.
None of the colleagues I met who were forced resigned got any hard copy I will find today, what's it about. It looks very fishy. By the way in hard copy what you have received? Did they mention severance package amount? What about in email?
I just got a call from one the people around him got hard copy too. So they are selectively giving this, oral and documented but for rest only orally.
Yes, I was scammed when I joined TCS. Only they told they will provide me joining bonus, but when I join the project, they told me never given any written communication.
Even verbally, they didn't tell how much they are giving?
For me as of now they only told verbally, and I learnt that on LWD, they are handing over a printout saying about all generic details of separation with no details or numbers except for an ex-gratia in terms of number of months but not the amount.

In TCS , anything verbal is scam , they are scam artist . From PM to HR . They are corrupt to the core . Ugly org
