Want to aura farm? Just finish the practical exam in the first 10 minutes when rest of the class takes 2 hours or top an exam by studying one day before.
Breakup? Infinite options available to you.
In corporate, everything is dictated by politics . Even if you are super brilliant, if the management wants it you will be doing data entry

Also, in engineering colleges which are govt based the ratio of girls is very less, so what options are you talking aboutt
Majority of us are not from govt colleges
Over a period I have realised one thing is that
- first get the clarity on what you want to work on - atleast to some level .
- work backwards towards that goal.
- find the companies that would fit your criterias.
- understand what skill should acquire and what compromises you would require to achieve those goals.
- after this , there is a small part of luck which can change things completely.
The problem with college at any level - there is a huge information gap between industry and college.
In college, we would just want to work with the biggest names and salaries, we hardly look into the nature of the job and culture that the company will provide !!!!
In the end, it is all about iterations. We make mistakes , we learn from them and don't repeat !!!
Hopefully we end up at the correct place .

I would respectfully disagree.. College was too easy.. no fun in such easy life.. in corporate, for me personally, I see purpose despite all the negative aspects which you rightfully pointed out.. in college the purpose was somewhat missing or was on the lower side
