I'm a bit confused between Pixel8 & iPhone15. In 2020 I moved my parents to iOS so that they don't ask me to fill Govt exam forms and understand that I make more money than a WITCH employee. Deep down I don't want to spend more than ₹20k on a phone, as i want to use it at Max 2hours/day as my monies comes from the code and not on the reels or reddit threads I'd read on a flagship phone. I don't want to buy an adware smartphone like Samsung and Iwant a simple smartphone which can fit in my hands as I'm 5'5". I'm actually confused as no desi YouTuber has reviewed heating issues in iPhone15 or Pixel8.

Right now I'm using a Nokia Android which lags a bit but I'm happy as the phone sucks so ba that I barely want to use it beyond 1.5h/day.

Im confused if u want to buy a cheap phone or expensive phone. I use the pixel 6a and can tell you some cons of using pixel in india. So the main problem is that india is not an important market for google and so they dont take things seriously. for eg I gave my phone for repair and they took 20 days to fix it as its a third party service center. next they dont sell anything officially so their is no guarantee of when stuff goes out of stock For eg they dont sell the usb c to 3.5 mm adapter and other just dont well with pixel. I myself imported it from US second their charger cost 2k in india which is crazy

the battery on my pixel 6a sucks and its build is also not good

ofc pixel 8 would be much better than 6a but the their is always a risk when you buy unpopular gadgets as the phone might be great but other things might hinder your experience

but that being said pixels a great series of phones with great UI and hardware

when I bought pixel I was low on budget and i really wanted to use a pixel once so I boguht I

not a bad phone but yes there are some cons

I previously did this a year ago in the PMs community, was a decent success!

Should I buy or not

Planning to buy a phone but considering I make around 80k, is it wise to spend 40k on phone.

Also if yes which one should I buy

  1. Samsung galaxy s22
  2. OnePlus 11r
  3. Google pixel 7
