Anyone aware of spiritual or kundalini awakening?
Is it possible that this happens even without knowing about it but when someone chants a mantra/naam jap? If so, how will they know about it?

It happens with me when doing kapalbhati yog, energy auto flows upward for me if I don't do thinks to bring it down. Kundalini awakening is not what people think as out of world thing that once it's awaken everything is set. Just consider it as awakening is similar to land up in very good dream job but whether you can remain in that position depends on your efforts and capability.
If one wants a genuine person to guide them. He should approach a Bonafide guru. Bonafide guru is in parampara. Which means knowledge is flowing through this parampara is not altered. They speak what their guru has said.
And how we can know somebody is in the Bonafide parampara. If the guru parampara starts from lord Krishna because he is the lord and he imparts this knowledge.
