Anybody got Infosys offer ? Need Help

My friend got Infosys offer and offer letter is in portal. It's said that within 7 days he should accept the offer. As he has to travel to banglore so he is thinking if I open the link then it will be auto accepted and I should reach Bangalore within 7 days . He is planning to open the link after 6 days. As he is immediate joiner again he is thinking if joining date mentioned in offer letter is immediate then I will loose the job . He is TCS layoffs victim. If you recently got offer from Infosys please tell me what's the process ?
