Anybody fall under MLT being a frontend developer?

I missed the MRC E2 level competency and now I am falling under MLT non complaint group. Last year I tried with one of the HTML related courses and that was so outdated and irrelevant, and failed. Yet I have to pass it and not sure which course I can pickup. HR, TD partner and manager too not sure how to complete this and based on my current skills which to go for. But the thing is I am non complaint and got the band C which is not fair at all. Tell me your experience.
