Anybody been to Hungary?
Planning a 3 day trip to Hungary. Is it worth it? Would you recommend it over other places in Europe?
Budapest is pretty good.
The public hot baths, walk across the cities or Pest and Buda and maybe poker in the evening.
1-2 days in your east European journey is ok.
You can club it with Praha, Budapest, Transylvania and maybe Croatia together for 10 days.
Hey @EarthDragon I have 3 days in Budapest alone. Nothing else. And I’ve never been to Europe. Planning to close the trip under a lakh including everything. Still worth it?
Spending all that money on airfare and coming back after 3 days doesn't sound a good deal. Generally it would make sense to atleast go for a week and cover 3-4 cities to make it worth it
Couchi- correct, once the hurdle cost (equivalent to capex) of air travel is done, rest Opex per day in euro trip is very low.
