Any tips for a new dad trying to balance work while being a functional head

I’m a functional head, new dad and struggling to find my balance with work and parenting. Any tips? How do I win both parenting and work? Right now the split is more like 70-80% parenting, but 20-30% work. Need to balance it out

Congratulations! I hope your wife and kid are healthy. 🤍 . Taking care of someone who is completely dependent on you (and your wife) is demanding and exhausting in the beginning. This will ease up after a few days when you get into a rhythm and routine with your child.
. A truth pill is that right now you won't find 50-50 balance between work and parenting. Taking care of your newborn would (and should) take the most of your time and attention. Because your baby would grow faster than you can imagine and this time would be gone in the blink of an eye. So enjoy this time with your kid as much as you can as it won't come back. And don't take stress because everything will work out.
