Trending @Infosys; any suggestions?
hi guys , its almost 3 years for me in infosys and my ctc went from 3.5LPA to 4.35LPA and i dont think this is working out for me so i decided to quit infy this month without a job offer , i will risk it this time and also i have confidence that i will get a new job because i’ve already gave one interview and i got selected but they kept my offer letter on hold because they need a guy who can join them in a month and the hike they gave was more than 100%. So i’m not scared and also i have my brother and father who can support me for a couple of months , if not now i can’t risk it later because my father will retire and brother will also get married and i will be stuck here in the name of job security. What do you guys have to say about this?

Hey don't think too much. Since having people who can support you in taking risks is a blessing in disguise. Go ahead and search for new opportunities. Do whatever you feel is the need of the hour.

The thing that is making me think is the hiring process , they take months to get back to us.

That's the thing but if you have great hold on skills then it should be fine. Meanwhile you can work for an internship, if you are feeling there will be a huge time gap in the whole process.

Is it possible to resign without showing any offer letter? If yes, can anyone suggest me, what reasons we may provide to them for resign?

no need to show offer letter. And my reason i will tell them openly that i don’t see any growth in my salary , if they ask me what we can do to not let you go , i will ask 100% hike because the people with my experience and my role who joined recently in infosys got hikes around 80-100%.

Oh ok, is it a good time to switch, as recession is going on now everywhere

Bro even mine situation is same will complete 3 years in June , I have resigned today only because I started with 3.6 and now 4.2 only

We all work and take salary in return, if that is not satisfactory you should switch until your salary is 2x to your exp and settle in good company

Take a Leap of Faith

Believe in yourself and go ahead. Hopefully you will get a better opportunity

If you are from IIT, NIT then you might have asked this question here. I will suggest that resign without offer will be the bad mistake. Also, You are one of the lucky guy to have family supporting you in bad times.
Life will have up and downs, you have face all difficulties and prove yourself.
One question you should think of very carefully right at this moment if you gave any interview will you able to clear technical round or at least able to answer half of them?
If yes then resign without any second though in mind. Else please prepare first and get offer then resign.
Trust yourself. I think it's fine when you are confident. In the last month of the notice period, you'll get the majority of calls, so be prepared for those. All the best.

Keep going bro
