yes, my cousin was part of such a startup and he became a semi millionaire (12CR+) at a very young age 29, he was part of the founding team- operations head.

now he is retired (just timepass doing consultant and advisory), money handled by fund managers.

My friend got an exit from a startup he worked there only for 3 years. It was sold to Google he joined Google, not sure how much money he made though
